Our St Kilda 1st XI had to settle for a loss as they had to give best to Camberwell Magpies 1st XI at Camberwell Sports Ground.
Camberwell Magpies 1st XI made 3/254, and we made 10/193. Matthew Hennig made a valuable 40 off 67 balls. Peter Handscomb provided good support with 33. The hosts' best with the ball was Sacheen R Paramesh (three for 31).
Shorye Chopra posted a superb hundred for our opponents, finishing on 100.
Plenty to take out of this one.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
