Good news from our St Kilda 1st XI, who got past Casey South Melbourne 1st XI with a quality team effort.
Casey South Melbourne 1st XI batted first and were all out for 203 in 49.3 overs. Credit to Jackson Isakka, who made a century (117) for the visitors. Five wickets for Thomas Paddington, who returned five for 27 off ten overs.
In reply, the team reached the target at 5/207 in 48.1 overs. Harry Dixon's 107 not out off 148 balls was a century to savour. Adam Crosthwaite provided good support with 26.
Big runs from our top order made the difference.
A superb effort from the boys.
