Saturday belonged to our St Kilda 2nd XI, who had the measure of Northcote 2nd XI with a fine team effort.
Northcote 2nd XI's innings ended at 10/186, ours at 6/371. A classy 74 off 100 balls from Ashish Ashish was the highlight. Henry Gray's 74 off 105 balls was a half-century to remember. Jack Cunnington passed fifty on the way to 71 off 90 balls with twelve fours. Ethan Sharkey claimed four for 54 for our opponents.
James Gray was the hero with the ball, claiming a seven-wicket haul (seven for 58). Harry Jones backed up well, taking three for 26. Noah Barone made 45 for the hosts.
It's three wins on the bounce. Well done, team.
