It was a good day out for our St Kilda 2nd XI, who put away Richmond 2nd XI with a good team effort.
Richmond 2nd XI made 10/166, and we made 7/331. Reyaan Farooq's 76 off 72 balls was a half-century to remember. Dan Meddings made an excellent 58 off 190 balls, a well-made fifty. Fifty for Ashish Ashish, who finished with 54 off 108 balls. Joshua Ash was the main threat for the visitors, taking three for 73. Callum McIlveen chipped in with three for 80 for our opponents.
Declan McComb starred with the ball, taking three for 39. Aaron Harding weighed in with three for 54 off 23 overs. For the visitors, Ranbir Singh made 33 off 90 balls. Brendan Rose added 30 for our opponents.
A well-deserved victory for the boys. It's five wins on the bounce. Onwards and upwards.
