There was no joy for our St Kilda 3rd XI, who went under to Dandenong 3rd XI in Kookaburra Men's Premier.
Our innings: 8/276. Dandenong 3rd XI's: 5/320. Tom Deighton made a brilliant 76 off 113 balls, a well-made fifty. Charlie Hester was unbeaten on 43 off 90 balls.
Orlando Pender grabbed two for 41. Abhikaran Singh Chhina posted a cracking hundred for our opponents, finishing on 118 not out.
There were some stylish individual efforts to build on. We'll go again.
