There was no joy for our St Kilda 3rd XI, who fell to Richmond 3rd XI on a frustrating day.
In terms of totals, it was St Kilda 3rd XI 10/178 and Richmond 3rd XI 6/181. Jobe Kennedy's 74 off 127 balls was a half-century to remember. Will Hamilton made a brilliant 50 off 120 balls, a well-made fifty. Credit to Ethan Loy-Abrahams, who took three for 14 for the visitors. Ashen Hettinayaka chipped in with three for 40 for our opponents.
Harry Jones returned figures of two for 0 off one over. The visitors' best was a half-century from Tom Cashman, who made 53.
Congratulations to our opponents on the win.
