Our St Kilda 3rd XI were on song as they proved too strong for Melbourne 3rd XI in commanding fashion.
We kept Melbourne 3rd XI to 4/232 from 44 overs. Our opponents' Hugh Hyslop made a classy 126 not out. Alex Young Jimenez bowled beautifully to finish with two for 42.
In reply, the side reached the target at 2/233 in 42.1 overs. Will Ashton was the star with the bat, compiling an excellent 105 not out off 132 balls with seven fours and one six. Will Hamilton's 64 off 89 balls was a half-century to remember.
We're currently fourth on the ladder. Well done to everyone involved.
